SCORE seeks mentors to assist entrepreneurs

If you are an active, semi-retired, retired or working business executive, entrepreneur, banker, accountant or consultant, SCORE, the leading organization committed to helping small businesses grow and thrive, is looking for you.

SCORE mentors work in their own communities and assist existing small businesses, as well as new startup businesses.

SCORE mentors are needed to serve Sheboygan County, as well as Northern Washington and Ozaukee Counties. Mentors are part of a network of 80 volunteers already mentoring in Southeastern Wisconsin dedicated to helping businesses grow and succeed from Kenosha to Sheboygan

SCORE mentors have business knowledge and real-world experience in a broad base of industries.

Ideal mentors are current or former business owners or those with banking, legal, marketing, human resource, sales, operations, manufacturing, retail, restaurant, service, social media or relevant corporate experience.

Volunteer mentors assist start-ups and existing small businesses to identify problems, opportunities, find solutions and develop action plans. Mentors work one on one and in workshop settings.

There is no cost for the mentoring services.

Those interested in becoming a mentor are asked to forward a resume and bio to m.theusch@scorevolunteer.org or call 262-689-9056.
