Eugene Hahn, 68, of Madison, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center .

Eugene was born on October 2, 1948, in Sheboygan , WI to Kurt and Olivia (Reyer) Hahn. He was a graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School and earned his BA in Political Science from UW-Madison. Eugene served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Eugene retired in 2016 from his job at Willie Street Co-op as an Accountant.

Eugene loved talking politics and was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed following the Wisconsin Badgers.

Eugene is survived by his sister, Delores (William) Ziegler; sister-inlaw; Doris Hahn; nieces and nephews, Richard (significant other Carol Butzen) Ziegler, Bonnie Roderick, Dean (Bonnie) Ziegler, Shelly (Ralph) Lilla, Brian Hahn, Cindy Rejholec, Christopher (Cheryl) Hahn, Larry Hahn, and Daniel Hahn. He is further survived by 16 great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Milford Hahn, and Marvin Hahn;

A time of visitation was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls from 10:30-12:30pm.

The time of visitation concluded with military honors at 12:30pm.

An inurnment will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the VA Hospital in Madison and the staff of the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for taking care of Eugene.
