(Edna) Jeanne Hutson-Mayer (Davis), 78, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 after a 2-year long battle with ovarian cancer.

Jeanne was raised in Macomb, IL and graduated from Macomb Senior High School in 1958. She was a native of Missouri but after living in Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado and Florida she spent her last years in Port Wentworth, GA.

She was a retired account manager for M&I Bank in Wisconsin, an avid reader and fierce trivia competitor. She was a devoted follower of Christ and a soldier and volunteer for the Salvation Army. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Harold Mayer of Plymouth, WI.

Survivors are two daughters and two sons: Jennifer (Paul) Gruner of Port Wentworth, GA; Andrea Davis of New Albany, IN; Andrew (Cindy) Davis of Lacrosse, WI and Jeff (Vicki) Davis of Lincolnton, NC; three sisters, Wanda (Virgil) Parker of Macomb, IL, Sally (John) Tibbetts of West Palm Beach, FL, and Kathy (David) Morrow of Industry, IL; a brother, David Eertmoed of MO; a very dear lifelong friend, Edie Stolper of Plymouth, WI; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at The Salvation Army, 505 N Randolph Street, Macomb, IL 61455. Captain Julio DaSilva officiating. A private burial will precede the memorial service.
