Pay It Forward raises $2,234

The Plymouth Education Foundation announced that its second Pay It Forward PHS Alumni Class Challenge raised $2,234 to benefit current and future students in the Plymouth School District.

“It was exciting to see PHS alumni reconnect, reminisce, and rally during the 20-day challenge to make a difference for students now and into the future,” said Andrea Schultz, foundation executive director. “We are grateful to the many alumni who showed their positive Panther Pride.”

The PHS class that raised the most money and had the highest participation rate won the challenge.

“The foundation received donations from 38 donors,” Schultz said. “PHS Class of 1977 led the way this year, and we hope to continue making this a fun school spirit, biennial challenge.”

All foundation donors have the opportunity to designate where they want their donations to be used: area of greatest need; capital project(s); grants; and/or scholarships.

“Thank you again, alumni,” Schultz said. “It is evident Panther Pride is strong in the Plymouth community!”
