DAR collects items for nurses

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), Plymouth Chapter, collected comfort items for a select group of 22 military nurses who currently serve in an undisclosed region described as a ‘soft target’ for enemy retribution.

The collection exceeded expectations, collecting over $1,400 worth of donations. Some of the items collected were slippers, nail polish, lotion, candy, nuts, lotion, sunscreen, magazines, powder drink packages, baby wipes and books. We hope the package makes their Christmas a little bit brighter and they know how thankful we are for their service to America. The boxes will arrive to our nurses in time for Christmas.

The chapter wishes to thank Masters Gallery of Plymouth and many of their employees for their tremendous outpouring support of this project. Kate Ullman. who spearheaded the project. is both a DAR member and an employee of Master’s Gallery. She said, “Master’s Gallery is a proud supporter of both our active servicemen and women and our veterans.”
