Community surveys due Nov. 6

Plymouth School District residents are asked to complete a community survey by Nov. 6, so that their feedback can be included as the district considers updates to school facilities.

The survey originally had a deadline of Oct. 30, but School Perceptions has informed the district that printing issues delayed distribution of the surveys, which are expected to be arriving in mailboxes soon. The district has extended the deadline to Monday, Nov. 6, so that it can receive as much community feedback as possible.

School Perceptions, an independent Wisconsin firm with expertise in school district surveys, is conducting the survey. All survey data is returned to School Perceptions, and all information will remain anonymous.

Every household in the district should receive a paper survey, which can be completed and returned in the accompanying envelope; the mailing also includes instructions for completing the survey online. If you haven’t received a survey by Tuesday, Oct. 31, please contact the district office at 892-2661.

The existing school facilities have served the community well for generations, and the district it has done an excellent job of maintaining them with its given resources. Looking toward the future, the district wants to be sure it has what it needs to continue helping all students become their best through successful learning experiences.

With that in mind, the district spent much of the 2016-17 school year developing a list of facility needs, then held several focus groups to get feedback, and now is asking all community members to share their thoughts via the survey.
