Back to the ‘50s at EL-GHS



Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School will present “Rock ‘n Roll,” the musical by Michael Fingerut and David Cothrell, a hilarious, romantic, action-filled romp back to days of the ‘50s. Meet the Herbert Hoover High School kids: There's Corndoggie, who stands up dream girl Betsy Lou on prom night, leaving both completely miserable and alone; funny Manfred and cheerleader Darlene; poor Duffy and Bumpers, each floundering around looking for that special someone; and Corndoggie's rival for Betsy Lou, superjock troublemaker Forrest Barrett. Then Margie, everybody's buddy, counselor, and warden; rock stars Johnny Sapphire and the Gemtones; and the biker gang, Duh Wheels, who end up cornering Corndoggie and his pals in a chase scene that tumbles over into the audience. The show will run Friday, Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 4, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 5, 2:30 p.m. in the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School Ronald Mauk Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students/senior citizens and $7 for adultsin advance at the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School office. At the door, prices are $7 for students/senior citizens and $10 for adults.
