Joan Elizabeth Dwyer, 86, of Sheboygan, passed away late Thursday Afternoon (Oct. 26, 2017) at Terrace Place in Sheboygan where she had been a resident for the past 4 years.

She was born on March 14, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Raymond and Rose (Bauer) Haut.

She attended Milwaukee area Catholic grade schools and graduated from Milwaukee Messmer High School in 1949.

On October 11, 1951, she married Charles P. Wieman. The couple resided in Saukville for many years following their marriage. Charles preceded her in death on September 1, 1979.

On April 28, 1984, she married John F. Dwyer in Milwaukee. The couple resided in New Berlin following their marriage. John preceded her in death on November 21, 1999.

Joan worked at the A.O. Smith Company in Milwaukee, worked as secretary for Dr. Poppe, and worked many executive secretary jobs until her retirement from Freeman Chemical Company in Saukville in 1984.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville and served many years on the Christian Mother Society.

Joan was truly a gifted artist and pianist. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family, friends and cats.

She is survived by: One daughter: Connie Wegner of Waldo; Two sons: William Wieman of Antioch, CA and Thomas (Gaylene) Wieman of Saukville; Daughter-in-law: Deborah Wieman of Waldo; Son-in-law: Michael Mondazze of Oregon; Eight grandchildren; Twelve great grandchildren; Two great-great grandchildren; and One sister: Barbara Ceccato of Milwaukee.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by: Her parents; Two husbands; One daughter: Mary Ann Mondazze; One son: Raymond A. Wieman; One grandson: Matthew Dahm; One great granddaughter: Heather Lynn Dahm; and One son-inlaw: Joseph Wegner.

Following Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday (November 8, 2017) at 6:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Father Karl Acker will officiate. Inurnment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Saukville.

Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday (Nov. 8) from 5:00 P.M. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joan’s name.
