SCHRC History on the Move to discuss farming

The Sheboygan County Historical Research Center in Sheboygan Falls will present History of Farming in Sheboygan County, Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Cedar Grove Public Library.

Agriculture as practiced by the early settlers was a haphazard and primitive process. Land clearing was accomplished by chopping away the underbrush and small trees with ax, mattock, brush-hook and grub-hoe.

The free program runs from 6-7:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.
