Legion offers vets free breakfast

The American Legion National Commander and Wisconsin native, Denise Rohan has asked American Legion Family Posts, Squadrons, Auxiliary Units and Legion Riders to put into action her theme of “Family First.”

The Plymouth Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post has not stopped serving, since it charted in March of 1920. The post would like to say thank you to veterans and current Armed Forces members still serving for their service.

The post at 40 Stafford St., Plymouth, will be offering a free breakfast for veterans and current active military - an opportunity for them to meet other Veterans and current military in a “Chow hall” setting.

The event will be on Veterans Day Saturday, Nov. 11, 8 a.m – 12 noon. The menu will be toast, S.O.S., eggs, ham and coffee. There will be a free will offering to offset some expenses.
