Carol “Betty” Buehler, age 87, of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Wednesday morning (November 8, 2017) at her home.

Betty was born on December 9, 1929 in Plymouth, WI, a daughter of the late Frederick W. and Mabel E. Kamerling Tempas.

She attended Adell Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1947.

On October 15, 1949, Betty married Gordon “Gordy” W. Buehler at the Cedar Grove First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove, WI. The couple resided in the Sheboygan Falls area for many years after their marriage, moved to Pembine, WI, and upon her husband’s retirement moved to Plymouth, WI.

Betty was employed at J. C. Penney’s for a short time and helped her husband manage the Grand Motel in Pembine for seven years.

Her husband preceded her in death on November 9, 2009.

She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls.

Betty enjoyed watching sports in general, but loved her favorite football teams, the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, collecting Dutch Delft items, playing cards with her friends at the Atrium and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include: Two daughters: Mae Ann (Denis) Paeske of Green Bay, Julie E. Buehler-Mauer of Plymouth; One son: Daniel E. (Amy) Buehler of Cascade; Special son-in-law: Keith (Sherry) Binversie of Mishicot; Seven grandchildren: Amy (Dave) Buresh of Green Bay, Sarah (Chris) Spychalla of Green Bay, Ryan (Becca) Mauer of Madison, Bill (Lindley) Mauer of Green Bay and Bethany Mauer of Chicago, Brianna Bennin (Fiance: Andrew Schroeder) of Hales Corners and Mackenzie Bennin (special friend: Alex Fandre) of Sun Prairie. She also has ten great grandchildren: Brittney (Mark), Mariah (fiancĂ©: Dakota), Mitchell, Cora, Carly, Brennan, Elliot, Nolan, Grace and Charli; Two great-great grandchildren: Emilia and Shiloh; Two brothers-in-law: Harold (Lois) Buehler and Howard (Bernice) Buehler, both of Sheboygan Falls; and One sister–inlaw: Avis Tempas of Scottsdale, AZ.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, one son: Gary Buehler, one daughter-in-law: Barb Buehler-Binversie, four brothers: Ned, Burton, Robert and Walter Tempas and one sister: Mary Voskuil.

Memorial services were held on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 12, 2017) at 4:30 P.M. at the First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. Rev. Brad Veenendaal, Pastor of the Church, offi- ciated. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Sheboygan Falls cemetery.

Friends could call at the church in Sheboygan Falls on Sunday (Nov. 12), from 2:30 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Betty’s name.
