Ronald E. “Ron” Blanke, age 74, of Sheboygan Falls, WI, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.

He was born on February 17, 1943 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Jerome and Henrietta (Renk) Blanke.

He graduated from Elkhart Lake High School.

Ron served in the United States Army from 1962-1964 serving in the European Theatre.

Ron worked for 13 years at W.B. Suhrke Company in Plymouth and for 30 years at Sargento Cheese in Plymouth retiring in 2005.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing, working and fixing anything on a lawn mower and participating and sponsoring Lawn Mower Pulling.

He is survived by his daughter: Ronda (Shawn) Geiger of Sheboygan Falls; Six Grandchildren: Emily Geiger (Fiance Austin Holentunder) of Plymouth, Alec Geiger of Sheboygan Falls, Paytn Blanke of Sheboygan Falls, Jamyz Hall of Minnesota, Karly O’Grady and Kieran O’Grady both of Elkhart Lake; Daughter-in-law: Tina Blanke of Elkhart Lake; Four Brothers: Jack (Anna) Blanke of Elkhart Lake, Gerald (Marilyn) Blanke of Loyal, WI, Gene (Christine) Blanke of Elkhart Lake and Kenneth (Mary Lou) Blanke of Elkhart Lake; Three Sisters: Ellynne (Brian) Johnson of Plymouth, Barbara (Ron) Preder of Elkhart Lake and Mary Jane Blanke (Companion: Fred Brost) of Plymouth.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son: Jason and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Following Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday evening (December 7, 2017) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Pastor Deborah Tyler, Pastor of Community U.C.C. in Elkhart Lake will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday (Dec. 7) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services.

Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post # 5612 will conduct military rites following the Services at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
