The dual was the Panthers’ East Central Conference opener. Campbellsport is the two-time defending ECC Tournament champion.

PHS won only four matches but three of them were by pins. Earning falls were Josh Koll at 160 pounds, Jesse Schwarten at 220 and Gabe Haun, 285. Also winning for PHS was Will Birkholz with a 7-4 decision at 138.

“Campbellsport has a pretty solid, strong team and will most likely be at the top of the conference again this year. It was a tough night for the Panthers as many of us struggled,” said PHS head coach Rick Gruber.
