The Resorters chalked up five pins. Scoring falls were Max Ward at 152 pounds; Yoshi Sesoko, 160; Matthew Schorer, 220; Jon Roll, 285; and Taylor Cain at 132. Roll had the fastest pin in the meet at only eight seconds.

Elkhart, which won five matches by forfeit, upped its dual record to 7-1.

“We were able to keep our momentum going picking up a team win against New Holstein Thursday. Max looked good as did Yoshi Sesoko, Matthew Schorer, Jon Roll and Taylor Cain,” said Resorter head coach Larry Ward.

“Guerrero lost a tough match in sudden victory [7-5 at 145]. He moved up a weight class to pick up a match and was in it until the very end. He is a tough freshman that will have a lot of success as he gets more mat time.”
