EL hoops recognize cancer survivors

Cancer survivors and people affected by cancer will be recognized during the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah vs. Oostburg boys basketball game Thursday, Jan. 11 at the EL-G High School gym.

The varsity game will start at about 7:15 p.m.

Leroy Hamilton, EL-G boys head basketball coach, is seeking cancer survivors, people who have been diagnosed with cancer or individuals who have had someone close to them affected by cancer to share their experiences. There will be no speaking involved.

Hamilton said he is looking for written letters sharing experiences involving cancer, and the letters will be posted in the hallway outside the gym during the game. Photographs may also be included with the letters if desired.

Letters may be emailed to Hamilton at leroy.hamilton@acuity.com or dropped off at the EL-G High office, located at 201 N. Lincoln St., Elkhart Lake.
