Shack snacks

To the Editor:

I am in high school and I greatly miss being able to purchase drinks and snacks from the ice shack. It has been a tradition since 1950 and a tradition for myself to come after school and do so. When I come from school to skate, I become hungry and thirsty from skating.

From my knowledge the swimming pool has the right to sell products and I don’t see why the ice shack can’t.

Many people come and enjoy the ice shack dearly. It wouldn’t be the same without coming in and having a little snack or drink to hold me/us over until the next meal.

Throughout the years the ice shack has gained more popularity so the want of food will rise. Mother Nature decides the weather, but you have to power to decide if we could purchase food.
