ALVIN EDWARD WHITE

Alvin Edward White, beloved husband of Helen (Harper) White, of Glenbeulah, formerly of Evanston, IL, went to eternal rest on January 2, 2018.

Al and Helen exemplified a truly Christo-centered marriage, receiving instruction in the faith from Fr. Gerald Weber, they went on to raise 10 children, while being Co-Presidents of CFM, in Cook County, Il., and champions for civil rights, the homeless, and civic duty. Retiring to Sheboygan County, together they delivered Meals on Wheels, tutored in reading for both inmates at Kettle Morraine Prison and second graders at Glenbeulah Elkhart Lake Elementary school. When not attending grandchildren’s recitals, birthday parties, plays, science fairs, or sporting events, they enjoyed their retirement years “on golden pond”, in the company of “breakfast club” friends, attending bible studies, and daily reception of the Blessed Sacrament.

He is further survived by one sister-in-law: Elizabeth Jean Harper of Skokie, IL, and numerous cousins.
