Mary Lou A. Klein, 69, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center with her loving family beside her.

Mary Lou was born on November 30, 1948 in Oshkosh, a daughter to the late Benjamin L. and Loma J. (Froemming) Rule. She grew up in Oshkosh, graduating from Oshkosh High School in 1967. She graduated from Gateway Technical College in 1969 as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

On February 5, 1972 she was united in marriage to Timothy Klein in Reno, Nevada. They resided in various areas of the country including Casper, Wyoming where Timothy operated Klein Plumbing and Mary Lou was an LPN. She had also been employed as an LPN at Theda Clark in Neenah and medical facilities in Kenosha and Plymouth. Timothy preceded her in death on January 10, 2015.

Mary Lou greatly loved and enjoyed her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special bond with her granddaughter, Veronica “Little Miss”. She also spent many hours visiting with shut-ins and enjoyed reading and knitting.

Mary Lou was currently a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and had formerly been a member at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha and Grace Lutheran Church in Casper, Wyoming.

Mary Lou is survived by her children,

Jennifer Foster of Sheboygan Falls, Mark (Cindy) Klein , Cindy (Gary) Garvin, Patrick Klein, all of Casper, Wyoming, Todd (Robbin) Klein of Powell, Wyoming and Brian (Lesa) Klein of Summerset, South Dakota; grandchildren, Veronica, Jordan, Jalen, Will, Matt, Jakob, Jessie, Ethan, Carly, Cory and Ben; a great granddaughter, London and her sisters, Judy (Mike) Elston, Bar Nunn, Wyoming and Nancy (Ron) Williams of Burlington, Wisconsin. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends further survive. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy, grandson, Joseph and granddaughter, Kesha.

Private family services will be held for Mary Lou at Ascension Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac with inurnment to be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Oshkosh.

Memorials in Mary Lou’s name may be directed to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center, W2850 State Rd 28, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085.
