Rotarians say “thanks’for Making Spirits Bright

To the Editor:

We wish to pay tribute to so many who made our sixth year of Making Spirits Bright a huge success.

We had a record-setting 23,300 vehicles visit the park and Sheboygan County Food Pantry donations totaled 80,721 pounds.

Our heartfelt thanks to our loyal sponsors. Brenda Potter, at the $10,000 level, has increased her support each year to become our premier sponsor.

We would also like to thank those at the $5,000 tier. including Festival Foods, Rockline

Industries, Grover Family Foundation, Frank G and Frieda K Brotz Family Foundation and Sargento Foods, as well as many others who helped us surpass our $70,000 goal.

Additionally, thanks to close to 2,000 volunteers without whose assistance in many different facets we would not be able to provide this event, some in severe weather conditions.

Thanks to those who visited the park providing much needed pantry items, as well as cash donations that allow us to maintain and grow the lights display and our quarry activities.

Thanks also to over 80 inkind donors, providing free or discounted services.

Last, but certainly not least, a huge thanks to our Steering Committees for their selfless time and effort all year long to ensure each year becomes a better experience.
