Marking 100 days of school

Students in Plymouth School District elementary schools recently celebrated the milestone 100th day of school with a variety of counting and math activities. Some examples include: · Horizon kindergartners (above) sang many songs and read stories about the 100th day. They also brought in 100-item snacks and collections, and made 100th day necklaces and hats. · Fairview kindergartners and first-graders participated in six activities related to the number 100. “Lots of counting was done to prepare for this day!" said Horizon kindergarten teacher Janel Eernisse.
