An adult female was arrested for a probation violation in the 200 block of Pine Street.

Tou Kao Thao, 28, of Sheboygan Falls was charged with felony suffocation and strangulation-domestic abuse, misdemeanor battery-domestic abuse, misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse and misdemeanor bail jumping in Sheboygan County Circuit Court Monday, Feb. 12.

The charges stem from an alleged physical disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of Monroe Street on Feb. 11.

The Class H felony strangulation and suffocation-domestic abuse charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, imprisonment of not more than six years, or both, if convicted.

The Class A misdemeanor battery-domestic abuse and bail jumping charges each carry a fine of not more than $10,000, imprisonment of not more than nine months, or both, if convicted.

The Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse charge carries a fine of not more than $1,000, imprisonment of not more than 90 days, or both, if convicted.
