HOWARDS GROVEā€”The Village Board denied plans to relocate storm sewer lines and easement on a vacant property located between 1116 and 1212 College Avenue in Howards Grove.

After discussion with Public Works Department officials, board members felt that the request was too expensive on the property owned by Karl Eick. Eick has an interested buyer.

A $6,272.50 payment to JF Ahern for the wastewater plant upgrade was approved.

A change order for JF Ahern in the amount of $8,912.00 was approved for additional repair and replacement costs of compact plants.

The village recommended the installation of a stainless steel counter at the concession stand at Memorial Park. Kohler Co. has made some donations that made this more affordable.

Clerk/Treasurer Jo Ann Lesser reminded the trustees about open meetings rules. Lesser stated that all emails should be sent through the Village Hall and to avoid walking quorums during private functions.
