Workshop offered for caregivers

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Sheboygan County will be offering Powerful Tools for Caregivers, an evidence based workshop for family caregivers, at Generations, 1500 Douglas Dr., Plymouth, on six consecutive Tuesdays from 12 noon - 3 p.m. beginning on April 10.

Participants learn to reduce stress, improve selfconfidence, better communicate feelings, increase ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources. See attached registration form and brochure. There is a $30 materials fee and lunch is included. Respite is available for eligible individuals. Space is limited, so register early.

·Provide care for a family member in their home or yours

·Are the primary caregiver for a person in a facility
