Human trafficking presentation

Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library will host a human trafficking presentation by Sheboygan Police Department Detective Tamara Remington Monday, April 9, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Human trafficking is recognized as a serious problem in Sheboygan County. For that reason, efforts are being made to inform the public, warn young boys and girls and to educate students, teachers and parents about the danger.

It is incredibly important that our vulnerable young people are not preyed upon, lied to and tricked into a life of abuse by criminals who pretend to be their friend.

Detective Remington has devoted herself to ending this crime that is haunting our area and hunting our children.

Another presentation will take place at Mead Public Library in Sheboygan on Thursday, April 5, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The presentations are sponsored by GFWC Plymouth Women’s Club and AAUW of Sheboygan.
