‘Evening of the Classics’ returns to PAC

The Plymouth Arts Center proudly presents another evening of fine performances in the semi-annual Joseph Sartori Concert Series “An Evening of the Classics,” on Saturday, April 7, 2018, 7:30 PM.

The concert performers are: Margaret Brack, soprano, Manitowoc; Christopher Guy, tenor, Random Lake; Dr. Thomas Armstrong, piano, Plymouth; and Barbara Ramm, cello, Plymouth.

The classical repertoire will include music by composers George Frideric Handel, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod, Georges Bizet, Arcangelo Corelli, Edvard Grieg, Theodore Chanler, as well as selections by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Billy Joel, and Justin Hurwitz.

Margaret Brack was born in Washington, D.C. into an educated, artistic and musical family. She began studying ballet at four years old and had her first performance on the piano at 5 years old.

Barbara Ramm is originally from Sheboygan where she played cello in the orchestra at North High School. She started with the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra in her senior year and now has played with them for 32 years.

Christopher Guy is an Elementary Special Education Teacher in the Random Lake School District. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Silver Lake College and is working toward his Master’s Degree in Education, with a concentration in Special Ed, through eduCATE-WI and St. Mary’s University.

Dr. Thomas Armstrong and his wife, Julie recently moved to Plymouth from Alma, Michigan, where they lived for 24 years. Tom is a veterinarian who owned and operated State Road Animal Hospital in Alma until selling the practice in 2016.
