Winery benefit raises $7,100 for pregnancy Health Center

The first Sip & Support event hosted by The Blind Horse Restaurant & Winery to benefit Anchor of Hope Health Center debuted on April 19 and was hailed a success resulting in total proceeds exceeding $12,000.

This exclusive event featured a champagne reception and the culinary creations of Blind Horse Executive Chef, Brent Davis, along with exquisite wine pairings to accompany each of the five courses.

A highlight of the evening was showcasing original artwork by local artist, Jason Prigge, whose canvas painting of a young child, specifically created for Anchor of Hope was purchased for $1,000 by an anonymous donor. The same illustration was also featured on a Special Edition Barbera, also available for purchase.

At the conclusion of the event, Blind Horse Restaurant & Winery owner, Matt Moeller, presented a check in the amount of $7,100 to the Anchor of Hope Board of Directors as part of the Eat. Drink. Give. Charitable Initiative.
