Comm Ed offers health classes

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering a new Supplement Bone Health class and another session of Les Mills BodyPump this summer.

Register by Friday, June 1 and save $10 on the following classes, which will meet at Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave., unless otherwise noted:

· Supplement Bone Health: Dr. Dan Francis of Francis Chiropractic will discuss ways to keep your bones and skeleton in good health by reducing the risks and effects of osteoporosis. He also will discuss how to evaluate nutritional supplements for quality and cost effectiveness. Class will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13; fee is $5 until June 1, then $15.

· Les Mills BodyPump: This hour-long full-body barbell workout targets each muscle group. Choose your challenge with light to moderate weights to help sculpt, strengthen and tone. Great music will help you give it your all until the finish. Class will meet with instructors Carly Lenz and/or Julie Frausto from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and from 6 to 7 a.m. Thursdays from June 12 to Aug. 30 at Riverview Middle School, 300 Riverside Circle. Until June 1, the fee is $68 ($54 for Generations members and district residents ages 62 and above) for 24 classes, or $35 (seniors $28) for 12.
