Edmund F. “Ed” Titel, age 86, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on Saturday (June 16, 2018) at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 26, 1931 in the Town of Greenbush, a son of the late Reinhard and Caroline (Meyer) Titel.

He attended Glenbeulah Grade School and graduated from Glenbeulah High School in 1950.

Ed served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952-1954.

On October 2, 1954 he married Delores Raeder at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.

He worked for Kohler Company for 43 years and after retirement he worked for the City of Plymouth.

Ed was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth, the Kohler Quarter Century Club, the Whitetail Bowhunters Club in Johnsonville, Hermitage Club in Kiel, and the Kohler Golf League.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, reading – especially mysteries – and was a big St. Louis Cardinals Fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Delores of Plymouth; Daughter: Colleen Titel of Plymouth; Son: Brian (Debra) Titel of Sheboygan; Two Grandchildren: Justin Titel of Sheboygan, Mitchell (Leah) Titel of Plymouth; Four great-grandchildren: Chloe Voigt, Jakk Edmund Titel, Maxx Brian Titel, Olivia Ann Titel; Sister-in-law: Marilyn Schmitz of Plymouth; and His best friend: Korey Friederichs.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Jean (Edward) Bauman; Nephew: David Bauman; Brother-in-law: Willard Schmitz; and Mother and Fatherin law: Milton and Lorena Raeder.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday evening (June 20, 2018) at 5:00 P.M. at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. Rev. James Hoppert, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Private burial will be held at Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday (June 20) at the church from 2:00 P.M. until time of Services.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post # 5612 will conduct military rites at the church following the services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ed’s name for Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
