Sheboygan Falls native Brian Berlin has been selected as the new associate principal and athletic director at Sheboygan Falls High School.

Berlin, who was officially approved to serve in the position at a Sheboygan Falls School Board meeting on Monday, June 18, has served as a math teacher and the head football coach at Sheboygan Falls High School for the past seven years.

Berlin, who replaces Jacob Beschta as the new SFHS associate principal and athletic director, was born and raised in Sheboygan Falls.

After college, Berlin started teaching and coaching at High School.

“It always has been my goal to be an associate principal and athletic director,” said Berlin. “This is an amazing opportunity for me.”

Berlin currently resides in Grafton with his wife, Jamie, and their son, Brayden.

As a family, enjoy the outdoors, as well as traveling. They also like watching sporting events, especially the Milwaukee Brewers.

“I am extremely excited to be able to work with the students, staff, families and the community of the Sheboygan Falls School District, making it a better place to attend events, work and most importantly, helping each student achieve a career path and life goals,” Berlin stated. “I fully believe that through effective communication, building relationships, providing meaningful opportunities and working with the community, we can all make this happen together.”

Berlin mentioned that the hardest decision was to leave the head football coaching position.

During his time as head coach, the Falcons football team has won the last three consecutive Eastern Wisconsin Conference championships and has qualified for the playoffs four times.

“It will be tough for me to watch football from the sidelines,” Berlin commented. “I feel that I have put a lot into the football program to get it where it is today. The momentum of our football program has our success recognized statewide.”

The Sheboygan Falls School District is currently taking applications for the head football coaching position.
