Shooting to improve

Participants going into grades 7-9 at the Plymouth Girls Basketball Camp practice shooting. The camp, held at the Plymouth High School gym June 11-15, also included a session for grades 4-6. The camp, which drew 55 girls, focused on shooting, passing, dribbling and team play.

“Hopefully, the girls learned a lot. I was impressed with how hard they worked and their willingness to try new things and get out of their comfort zone,” said camp director Brad Shutter, PHS head girls basketball coach. Players on the PHS girls varsity and junior varsity 1 basketball teams, and PHS girls varsity assistant Travis Streblow helped at the camp.
