Eine Kleine Deutsche Nacht Musik

Gemutlichkeit filled the air in City Park Thursday night, along with plenty of polkas, waltzes, schottisches and more for the annual German Night festivities.

There was three hours of traditional European music from three different bands - the Plymouth High School Junge Kameraden (top), the Plymouth Municipal Band (above right) and the Dorf Kapelle (above), including a special appearance by Elsie Schultzenheim herself (cover) - to get people dancing and swinging.

German costumes abounded, from hats to full regalia, and there was plenty of good German food (including bratwurst) and beer in the Bier Garten.
