TIM BROCK

Tim Brock, 69, of the Town of Sheboygan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on July 22, 2018 at The Sheboygan Senior Community on Y, where he had been a patient for the past month.

He was born June 4, 1949 in Port Washington to the late Carolyn (West) and Victor Brock. He graduated from Cedar Grove-Belgium High School in 1967 and soon after was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country in the 1st Cavalry Infantry in Vietnam. Following his service, Tim was a member of the Sheboygan American Legion Post 83, where he served in the Color Guard.

In 1990 he married his soul mate, Joann Mueller. They made their home in the Town of Sheboygan. He worked for many years as a mechanic before joining Lakeland College in their maintenance dept. Tim retired from Lakeland in 2013.

Tim was a hands-on guy and enjoyed working on home remodeling, woodworking in his shop, and making homemade pens and bottle-stoppers. Together, Tim and Joann enjoyed gardening, cooking, finding auction treasures, and getting to as many NASCAR races as possible.

Their travels took them to England, Italy, river cruising from Amsterdam to Budapest, Alaska, The Bahama’s, Mexico, and many exciting trips in the US. They also enjoyed many Can Am road trips around Wisconsin.

Tim deeply loved his family as well as his many good friends. He is survived by his wife Joann, children Julie (Jason) Miller, Chris Brock, Kevin (special friend Melissa) Brock, and Nick Brock, grand-children Connor, Cody, and Carson Miller, Elliot Brock and Hailey Brock. Brother, Jim Brock, Sister, Margie (Larry) McCutcheon, Sister-in law, Alice Brock, feline children, Frank, Harry, and Icicle. He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and good friends.

He was preceded in death by: His parents; Brother: Don Brock; Brothersin law: Jerry (Jane) Mueller and Jim (Diane) Mueller, and feline companions, Sylvester, and Flashy.

In 2013, Tim began his big struggle with the health issues that he succumbed to, Non-Alcoholic liver cirrhosis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and anemia.

He always appreciated the care and kindness shown to him by NP Michelle Wilson, Aurora Clinic, Hospital, Vince Lombardi Center, St. Lukes, Sheboygan Senior Community on Y including all nursing, therapies, kitchen, and staff. He was truly blessed to have all of you.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. with a prayer service and military rites to follow at 11:30 A.M. Pastor Dale Miller will officiate and the Ladewig- Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243 will conduct military rites. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Tim’s name.
