Falls Chamber-MS thanks Ducktona supporters

To the Editor:

As we wrap-up the 30th Ducktona Family Festival, we want to pause and reflect on the amazing support and generosity of the Sheboygan Falls community.

Chamber-Main Street has been the benefactor of increasing sponsorship over the past 30 years and for this we want to acknowledge and thank the generous business community for their continued support of Ducktona, recognizing the significant impact it has on our organization by allowing us to enhance and expand our programing and services that benefit our entire community.

As many organizations, churches and schools already realize, volunteers are critically vital to the success and even existence of every program.

Sheboygan Falls Chamber- Main Street also understands the importance of volunteers.

Having dedicated and loyal committee members, sets the tone for the entire event. We certainly couldn’t do this without their leadership and guidance.

It takes over 150 volunteers to properly staff Ducktona. That being said, you can appreciate the accumulative impact volunteers have had on Ducktona over the past 30 years. This 30th year was no exception.

We reached out to the business community, family and friends, to schools and churches, through prayer, through social media, eblasts, the Falls News, phone calls and text messages.

You heard our pleas and responded with a resounding, “Yes, I can help!”

It was truly amazing to witness the tremendous response from the community.

A huge “thank you” goes to everyone who volunteered a few hours or the whole day at Ducktona.

We have been truly blessed and can’t say “thank you” enough to everyone who contributed to the success of the 30th Ducktona Family Festival.

Shirl Breunig executive director and
