SCHRC genealogy class to demystify German research

Author and German genealogy expert Linda Herrick will offer an afternoon of German research as part of the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center genealogy class series Monday, Sept. 13, at the Sheboygan Falls Library.

The class will attempt to demystify the sometimes difficult German research methods. Class members will learn the difference between Pomerania and Prussia, as well as how and where to begin to develop a plan for a German family.

The class will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the lower level meeting room of the Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library, located at 330 Buffalo St. in Sheboygan Falls.

The cost for the class is $15 for SCHRC members, $20 for non-members and $25 for walk-ins. Advance registration is requested.

Everyone is welcome to attend the class. To register, call 920-467-4667.
