Tellory partners with Sartori to form Sartori Inspirations

Tellory, a leading manufacturer of premium pesto, dips and spreads has joined with Sartori, a renowned producer of high-quality cheese to form Sartori Inspirations.

Tellory’s brands (Ciolo and Piccolo) are leaders in the high quality fresh dip and spread market. Mallory Kates, CEO of Telloryco, founded the company based on the premise that unique recipes using only the freshest, most natural ingredients make the best products.

“There are cheaper, less tasty ingredients available – we simply choose not to use them,” Kates said.

The company’s home base and core team will remain in Boulder County, Colorado.

“We have been approached before by companies interested in buying us,” Kates said, “but Sartori is clearly the right fit. They understand and share our values and commitment to quality and customers. It’s very exciting for us to become part of a team that will not only help us continue to grow, but who can bring us so much in terms of production expertise and quality assurance.”

“Tellory is a wonderful fit for Sartori,” said Sartori President Jeff Schwager. “Many of their products are artisan cheese-based, and the collective customer base is a strategic match.”

Jim Sartori, CEO and third-generation owner of Sartori, likes Tellory’s commitment to producing only the best. “Much like our award-winning cheese company, Tellory believes in using only the finest, freshest natural ingredients. It is a solid partnership, and having a talent like Mallory on our team will be a great asset. We hope to free her up from the day-to-day oversight of operations and let her focus on her passion – recipe development and customer care.”
