Op-arrrh-a for young people (and not so young)

Things go swas-buckling at the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Elementary Middle School last week when Madison-based Opera for the young put on a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" in the school gym.

Students from teh fourth-, fifth- and sixth grade classes were selected to be part of the cast as contables, pirates, and wards, performing alongside the professional opera performaers, while teachers, parents and other students were encouraged to dress in pirate garb in keeping with teh spirit of the show.
