“I was real impressed with how the girls kept their composure [after getting behind]. We didn’t give up and kept playing hard. This is a very good win on the road.”

Junior guard Maddie Landgraf poured in a career-high 23 points and senior guard Stephanie Knepfel added to spearhead the Resorters’ attack. Landgraf buried three three-pointers. Knepfel was 10-for-12 at the foul line, including 6-for-6 in the final quarter which helped seal the win.

“Stephanie attacked the baskets well and was money at the free-throw line. Rachel Knowles played well off the bench with eight points.”

Elkhart’s pressing defense was key as it forced 23 turnovers.
